Blues'n Jazz Rallye in Luxembourg City: 40 free concerts
Over 40 jazz and blues bands take over Luxembourg's historic neighbourhoods for an afternoon of open-air music.

On 5 August 2026, Luxembourg City becomes a giant stage with the Blues'n Jazz Rallye. From 4pm onwards, more than 40 bands perform in the Clausen, Grund and Pfaffenthal districts, offering free concerts in the open air and in local cafés.
These three lower town neighbourhoods, listed as Unesco World Heritage sites, provide a stunning backdrop with their cobbled lanes and historic fortifications. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly: you wander freely from one concert to another, settle on a terrace, and discover various musical styles. The crowd is multigenerational, mixing locals with visitors who've come especially for the event.
If you're staying in Gaume, allow about an hour's drive to Luxembourg. Arrive in the early afternoon to find parking easily (P+R car parks recommended) and take time to explore these charming neighbourhoods before the music begins. Wear comfortable shoes: the cobblestones and slopes are part of the experience.
