A 12 km nature walk following the curves of the Semois through the village of Jamoigne and the rolling landscapes of Gaume.
This 12 km route takes you through Jamoigne, a peaceful village nestled in the meanders of the Semois. The walk alternates between country paths, woodland sections and viewpoints over the valley, typical of Gaume's rolling terrain.
You'll pass through hamlets with well-preserved rural heritage, walk alongside grazed meadows and perhaps spot traces of local history. The route naturally follows the curves of the Semois, offering a lovely immersion in this undulating countryside where time seems to slow down.
Allow around 3 hours at a relaxed pace. The terrain features gentle ups and downs, suitable for any regular walker. Best enjoyed in dry seasons, as some sections can get muddy after rain. Proper walking shoes recommended.
