1,5 km9h

A short escape on the Gaume Ravel, perfect for a gentle warm-up or a nature break between regional discoveries.

Ravel from Saint-Léger to Châtillon - Easy stroll along a greenway

This walk follows the Ravel between Saint-Léger and Châtillon, a former railway line converted into a peaceful greenway. The route runs straight through the Gaume countryside, away from traffic, with only birdsong for company.

At 1.5 km long, it's the ideal itinerary for a short digestive stroll, an outing with young children, or a quick leg-stretcher. The flat, stable Ravel surface suits all users, including pushchairs.

The path crosses meadows and wooded edges typical of rolling Gaume. A few benches dot the route for resting and enjoying the scenery. The atmosphere is soothing, rural, with no technical challenges.

Level: very easy – accessible to everyone, including people with reduced mobility. Bring comfortable shoes, a cap in summer, and water. The walk works in all seasons, though spring is particularly lovely when nature awakens.
